Who is Kink of the Month open to?
Kink of the Month is open to US residents 18 years of age or older.
What products are in the monthly boxes?
Now where is the fun in divulging that mystery? Each box will contain items that encompass the theme for that month, but as for what’s in the box? You’ll just have to find that out for yourself. Although we will not disclosed what we put in each box specifically, our subscribers can expect to see products from brands such as Kink Industries, CalExotics, Stockroom, Doc Johnson, and many more.
How many items come in a box?
We prefer to focus on quality of items rather than quantity so the number of products included in each different theme may fluctuate. Due to this, we do not set an item count when it comes to products within a box.
How are the retail prices determined?
To establish our estimated retail price for an item, we base the cost that an item can be purchased for from reputable merchants.
When are new themes announced?
Themes are announced by the 20th of the month prior.
Why do you announce themes?
Not everyone may find each theme we come up with appealing. Due to this we announce the monthly themes in advance to give a hint as to what is to come. We encourage those that may not find an interest in that months theme to pass on it by suspending their account for the month so they do not receive a box that may not be to their liking.
What is the single theme box?
The single box works on the same principle as our subscription box without the monthly commitment. When ordering the single box, you will be billed for it and it will be a one time purchase. The box will be sent out during our regular subscription shipping window but you will not be billed a recurring monthly payment and your box will be a one time delivery.
How does the subscription work?
As a subscriber to Kink Of The Month, you will be billed at the time you sign up for your subscription box, after which, so long as you remain a subscriber, you will be billed on the 15th of each month thereafter. Boxes will be shipped out between the 1st and 5th of each month.
When will I be billed?
When you first sign up, you will be billed for your first box at signup, after that, you will be billed a recurring subscription payment on the 15th of each month.
I just signed up/my subscription renewed, why hasn’t my credit card been charged?
Credit Cards are typically billed within one to two business day after your order is received.
What box will I receive?
If you order between the 1st and the 14th of the month, you will receive the current months theme. If you order between the 15th and the end of the month, you will receive the Sensations Box. If you receive the Sensations Box as your first box, your next box, and those thereafter, should you continue to subscribe, will follow the regular monthly theme box rotation.
Why are the boxes different depending upon when I order?
Product orders to fill current subscription boxes are places after the 15th of the month. Due to this, new orders placed after that date could not be filled with the current theme products. To ensure new subscribers receive a box during the next shipping cycle after they order and not have to wait well over a month for their box, we keep products on hand to fill these late orders.
When will I receive my box?
Boxes are shipped out between the 1st and the 5th of the month. Example: If you subscribe between January 1st and the end of the month, your box will ship out between February 1st and the 5th.
What about privacy?
Worried about others finding out about your little secret? Don’t worry, we’ll never tell. For your convenience, all of our boxes come in plain packaging with no hint as to the contents within.
What do you do with my information?
All information collected via the website is used solely to maintain your subscription and to ensure that you receive your monthly package. Your information is never sold or shared with anyone not associated with Kink of the Month.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards. Square® is our payment processor.
There is a problem with one of the products I received.
If, in the rare instance, you receive a faulty item, please contact us immediately. If you have had the item for period of time and it fails, please check with the manufacturer, as some products may be covered by a warranty.
What if an item is not available?
If an item becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to substitute it with a similar item.
Can I suspend my subscription?
Absolutely. Perhaps one of the themes just isn’t for you, or money is a little tight that month? Not to worry, we understand completely. You may suspend your account at any time by logging into your account and going to your subscriptions. Accounts are suspended until such a time as you choose to unsuspend it. If you decide to unsuspend your account prior to the 14th of each month, your billing will resume on the 15th and your shipping cycle will start again on the 1st – 5th of the next month. If you unsuspend after the 15th, your billing cycle will resume on the 15th of the next month and your shipping cycle will resume on the 1st – 5th of the month after the next.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Of course we hate to see you go, but we understand if you decide that your subscription is no longer right for you. You may cancel at any time by either contacting us via our website contact form, or by going into your account and selecting cancel under your subscriptions. If you think you may return, we would encourage you to suspend your account rather than cancel it. If you cancel and decide to return, our system may put you back in the initial rotation which could cause you to receive a box that you may already have.
Will I receive a box after I cancel?
If you cancelled prior to the 15th of the month, the box you received prior between the 1st – 5th will be your last box. If you cancel after the 15th, and were billed on the 15th, the box you receive between the 1st – 5th of the next month, you will receive your last box.
What about refunds?
Our subscription boxes are purchased based upon the number of current paid subscriptions we have. Due to this, we do not offer refunds on our boxes. Because of the nature of theme boxes, we understand that not everyone may like every box they receive, this is why we encourage our subscribers to review each theme and decide prior to their billing date whether it is a theme that they have an interest in, or if they would choose to pass that month and wait for a more suitable theme.
